I Like Movies is now on iPhone

I Like Movies is on the App Store. After a year on Android, the same app is now on iPhone, free, with no ads and nothing to upgrade. If you have been waiting for it, this is the day.

The same app, not a cut-down one

The iPhone app is the app, not a lite version of it. Films and TV in one library tracked down to the episode, private ratings and notes, monthly Discover collections built from your own ratings, an assistant you can ask in plain language, streaming availability for your country, and a household that shares one watchlist and one watched history. Everything the Android app does, the iPhone app does.

Your library is already there

Because your library lives on the server rather than on the handset, an account you started on Android is already waiting when you sign in on an iPhone, and the other way around. A household now shares one library across both platforms, so a mixed-phone home finally works the way it should: a film one person adds is on everyone's list before the evening starts.

Coming from another app, a Letterboxd .zip or an IMDb .csv imports your ratings and watchlist directly, so a library built over years does not start from zero.

Where to start

Download it from the App Store, or read the iPhone page for what it does and how it compares. If you are weighing it against what you use now, the guides and comparisons lay that out honestly, including where the other app is the better choice.

I build this because I use it, and it gets better fastest when someone tells me where it is wrong. If you have opinions on what a movie tracker should do on iPhone, I want them.
