Updates to I Like Movies, newest first.

When a friend invites you to edit a shared list you can already see, for example one they sent you in a chat, the list now shows Accept and Decline instead of a read-only view
Search has a new Studios tab: type a studio such as Pixar, Disney or A24 and open its page, with its films and series, the sorts and filters you know from the Streaming tab, and your ticks and watchlist marks on every card
A title's page now shows the studios behind it, filling in over the coming days, and tapping one opens that studio's page
Sorting a studio or a streaming service by IMDb rating now orders the titles by the rating shown on each card, highest first
Export your data: Settings now saves a zip of spreadsheet files with your watched titles and ratings, Watchlist, Currently Watching, lists, notes, friends and settings, straight to a folder on your phone on Android and through Save to Files on iPhone
Share a list as a picture: open any of your lists, tap share and send a Story-sized picture of it to Instagram, WhatsApp and more; short lists get a poster grid with titles and years, a ranked list shows its numbers, a long one shows the top of the ranking or a wall of posters
Inviting a friend from the Social tab or from a list's Members page now opens your phone's share sheet in one tap
A new account sees a calmer Profile, Stats and Friends page: cards that would only show a zero, and an empty friends list, stay hidden until there is something to show
While you have no friends on the app, your own posts on the Social tab no longer show like and comment buttons nobody else can see
Filters in the Library, lists and trackers are shorter: the Watching tab already shows what you are in the middle of

Badges: earn them for what you watch, rate and finish, from your first rating to a full year of weekly themes, on a page of cinematic awards that shows what each one means and how close you are to the next
Pick one earned badge to show under your name on your profile, and see a friend's badges on theirs
Six one-off badges mark your firsts: an import, a list, a note, a question to the assistant, a title marked as watching, a household
A new account now lands on a calmer first screen: one thing at a time, starting with the titles you can rate; the assistant's pointer waits until you have had a look
The Social tab now asks you to invite friends in one place, with a clearer card, instead of twice
Finding someone already on the app is easier: the Friends page now opens with a search box at the top that searches everyone by handle, and it still finds them if you type an @ or their name with a space
Every Friday evening the assistant sends three picks for your weekend, led by what streams on the services you picked, each with a line on why it suits you; reply to ask about any of them

On the Friends page, the search box and the people it finds now stay above the keyboard while you type a name
In household chat, one-to-one chat and the assistant, the newest message stays in view when the keyboard opens, and your place is kept when you are reading older messages
The Library, weekly themes, lists and the Streaming tab now spend less effort loading posters, so they open and switch tabs more smoothly
Joining a household is quicker: the app no longer downloads the whole household watchlist on the way in
Discover opens lighter: the sections further down the page load a moment after the first screen, so what you tap next is not held back by posters you have not scrolled to
Switching between the main tabs is smoother on Android: a tab you are not looking at pauses until you come back, and tapping Discover always takes you to the top of the page
The genre filter in the Library, lists and Discover pages has new Documentary and Family chips, and every chip now matches films and series alike, so Sci-Fi and Fantasy find your series too
The cast row on a title's page now ends with a View all button that lists every credited actor on its own page, and an episode's cast and guest stars get the same; coming back from that page returns you to the spot you left
On a post's page, the comment box now stays above the keyboard on Android while you write
The Social feed no longer downloads every poster again each time more posts load, so scrolling it is lighter on data and smoother
Long-pressing your own comment, on a post's page or in the comments sheet, now opens the app's own Manage comment card with Edit, Delete and Cancel, in that order
A show you have watched is coming back? The app now tells you a few days before the new season starts, and the alert counts down to the day. The alert switch in Settings is now called TV shows and covers new episodes and returning seasons
When you pick your handle during sign-up and the save fails for a moment, the app now says so and lets you try the same name again, instead of telling you the name is already taken
Bring your Trakt and TV Time history into the app: watched movies and shows, episode progress, ratings, Watchlist and lists come over in one upload, and any import can be undone within a day

Tapping a grouped post in Social, such as several titles added to a watchlist at once, now opens the title shown on the card instead of the newest one in the group
A title's IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic scores now stay on its page after you add it to your watchlist or mark it, instead of dropping back to a rougher score
Your watchlist and collection now open on the titles you added most recently, with IMDb scores still on every card, and a title you add or rate shows up at the top straight away
Picking a profile backdrop on an iPhone no longer hides the title and close button behind the status bar, and the search field stays above the keyboard while you type
Search now finds a film by its original-language title, with or without accents, and shows that title under the name you know it by
Search now forgives a different word order or a missing word, and a small slip in the title of a film you already have
Movie cards now keep the year on the left and the score on the right, value first and then the IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes or Metacritic logo, so scores line up down every grid
Buttons and highlights now use the warm ember orange from our logo, with dark labels that are easier to read, and your own chat messages sit in a calmer slate bubble
In a household, the "Owned by" filter now shows every member's name in full, on as many lines as it needs, instead of cutting names short when the household is large
Search has a new Streaming tab: the best movies and series on your streaming services in your country, narrowed to one service with a tap, sorted by IMDb rating, popularity or release date, and filtered by genre or by what you have already watched. A title's service badge now opens that service's list too
Titles you bring in from Letterboxd or IMDb now show their real IMDb score straight away
Search results and the Similar Titles rail now show the same IMDb score as the title's own page
Clearer messages from the assistant when something goes wrong
Your taste picks and the weekly theme now open faster, and their Watchlist badge marks only the titles on your own watchlist
Switching between Library tabs no longer reloads the posters, and loading placeholders now shimmer smoothly while a page opens
Discover has a new TV Essentials section: eight lists of must-watch series, from sitcoms and crime dramas to anime and docuseries, each showing how many you have seen

The button on a series page now reads "Add to Watching" and explains that Watching is what turns on new-episode alerts. After you tick or rate an episode on a series that is still airing, the page offers once to add it for you
Series you are watching now carry a small green dot on their poster in the library, so they no longer look like titles you have finished
New accounts are now asked about notifications at the end of setup instead of on the very first screen
The assistant button in the top bar now gives a short twirl when you open the app, so it is easy to find
IMDb scores in the Discover lists and in Explore Countries now match the score on each title's page, and the countries grid no longer shuffles when you come back from a title
Series you rated season by season can now be marked as still watching, straight from the title page
The seasons count on a series page now matches the episode list
The Friday theme notification now adds a personal line when the week's theme includes a film from your own watchlist or ratings
Titles you have watched but never rated now have their own screen, so catching up on ratings takes a few taps
On iPhone, changing your profile or household photo from your library now opens the photo picker every time
Your favorites on the profile can now be any number up to four, tapping anywhere on the card opens the picker, and unticking them all clears the section
On iPhone, shaking to report a problem while a sheet is open now still brings up the report form instead of going quiet until a restart
When you come back from a title, the person page and your library stay exactly where you left them, in the same order, instead of reloading and jumping to the top
The assistant now opens with suggestions based on you: more films like one you recently loved, and picks from what streams on your services
You can tell the assistant which streaming services you have, right in the chat, and it saves them for you
Your favorites on the profile now show how rare your taste is, from hidden gems to crowd favorites, and the same line travels with the picture when you share them. Friends' profiles show it too
Tapping a notification about a like or comment on a grouped post, such as several seasons finished at once, now opens that post instead of saying it is no longer available
The Android app now keeps far less in memory during long sessions, to stop a crash that could close it after heavy use
On iPhone, deleting a note now asks you to confirm and then removes it. The same fix brings back deleting a list you just created and removing an editor from a shared list
The Unwatched filter on your lists and watchlist now also hides titles you marked as watched without rating them, and the Filter button shows when it is on
On a household member's watchlist, the watched marks and filters now show what you have seen, so their picks that are new to you stand out

I Like Movies is now on iPhone, free on the App Store, with the same library synced across iPhone and Android
The app now opens on Discover, so recommendations and the week's theme are the first thing you see. Library, Social, Notes and Profile follow in the navigation bar
Sub-pages now keep a cleaner top bar: search and the assistant live on the five main tabs, and the assistant stays one tap away at the end of every long list
Going back to the first-time setup screens now shows the titles you already marked, and unticking one removes it
A brief server hiccup during setup no longer loses your picks; the app retries quietly
Notifications now sit in the top bar on every main tab, next to search and the assistant
When a title is not streaming in your country, the page now says so and points you to the watchlist alert and your streaming services
Your household now has its own page, reached from a home icon beside Chats and Friends on the Social tab: a picture, the people in it, any invitation waiting for you at the top, and inviting from a filterable sheet instead of a long list
Accounts with friends but no household get a one-time pointer to that page instead of a card at the top of the feed, and buttons now keep their size while they work
Ask the assistant to pick something for you and a friend, or for your whole household: type @ to choose the person, and it weighs both your tastes, skips what either of you has seen, and says whose streaming service a title plays on
Opening an episode now gives you arrows to step straight to the next or previous one, carrying on past the end of a season
Collections built from your taste now show the score on every film

Your profile now leads to a page of your own numbers: the decades your films come from, your top genres, and the directors and actors you watch most
See how you rate, how many notes you have written, and how your average compares with everyone else
Every title you rated five stars gets its own row of posters, and only you can see any of it
The app can now tell you in your notifications when something new arrives
Title pages now show how everyone on the app rated a title, side by side with your friends' average
That score moves the moment you rate, change or clear your own rating
Your collection and watchlist load faster, especially when coming back from a title
Invite links now bring a friend straight to you: open one, install the app, and the friend request is ready to confirm
Got an invite code instead of a link? Enter it on the Friends page to add the person who sent it
New accounts get a one-time pointer to where friends and family are invited
Share a rating as a picture to Instagram, WhatsApp and other apps from any title you have rated
Share your Top 4 the same way, with a share button beside the edit pencil on your profile
Both pictures are sized for an Instagram Story
Links, selected filters and the active tab now use the app's gold, so what you can tap stands out from the rest of the text
Episode pages open on a swipeable set of stills, with arrows and a tap to view any of them full screen
Reordering a ranked list now uses the usual back arrow
A momentary server hiccup while opening a page is retried quietly instead of showing an error
Asking the assistant to add a long list of titles now works: it adds as many as it can in one go, tells you which are still pending, and finishes when you say continue
An assistant request that takes too long now says so, instead of a generic error
Get a heads-up when a title on your watchlist arrives on, or leaves, one of your streaming services, one alert a day at most
Have not picked your services yet? Alerts start with Netflix, Disney Plus, HBO Max and Amazon Prime Video until you choose your own, with a shortcut to set them
Settings now has a Notifications page with a switch for each kind of alert

Get a heads-up when a show you are watching has a new episode, one alert a day at most, with an off switch in Settings
You can now choose who sees what you log, with separate settings for watched titles and ratings, and for your watchlist
Anything you log while set to Only me stays off your friends feed, and your own posts are marked so you can tell at a glance
Settings is now a short list of sections, and your streaming services moved to a page of their own
